Tremendous capacity of pilgrimage to Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine must be used to fulfill national and epistemological goals, said Hoj. Ahmad Marvi chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi speaking in a meeting with a group of people in charge of pilgrimage workgroup.

Hoj. Marvi added: “In line with Leader’s emphasis, AQR will fully cooperate with government’s affiliations as much as it can”.

Referring to the special favors of Imam Reza (AS), Hoj. Marvi stated: “If we want to gather a group somewhere, we have to hire cyberspace, media, and lots of publicity tools. This is while Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine attracts 30 million eager pilgrims every year. Which miracle is higher than this?”
“As the truth has turned into something common to us, we have forgotten its greatness. Those who are looking at the attraction from the outside are surprised, however,” he stated.

Pointing to the rise in AQR’s donations during last summer, Marvi said: “Despite some difficulties in economic wellbeing of Iranian families, the volume of donations to the holy shrine has increased 30 percent in comparison to the same period last year and the number of AQR’s pilgrims has not declined. People’s interest show that Imam (AS) is present in their hearts”.

“As Imam Reza’s (AS) immigration from Medina to Iran became a source of blessings for Iran and the whole world, we must take the advantage of Razavi pilgrimage’s capacities to promote religious wisdom and to fulfill Islamic-Iranian civilization and model for development”.

AQR chief custodian called for promotion of religious knowledge, Islamic lifestyle, security, and economic development by using the tremendous capacity of the holy shrine.
