A group of 750 Shia Muslims from the Republic of Azerbaijan have visited Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine concurrent with birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA).

The group attended Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine’s Kowsar Portico and enjoyed various programs arranged by AQR’s Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs.
Sewich Aliova, a member of the caravan who was visiting Mashhad for the first time, said: “I am so grateful to God for providing me with the opportunity to visit Imam Reza (AS) shrine now”.
Aliova added: “I hope all other devotees of the eighth Imam (AS) of Shia Muslims could have such an opportunity in the near future”.
“When entering the shrine, you experience indescribable feeling and pleasure. The feeling creates a kind of calmness and love which cannot be replaced with any other thing”, Azeri pilgrim said.
Noting that Muslims’ problems can be solved by resorting to the infallible Imams (AS), Aliova said: “Having a real comprehension about presence of household of Apostle of God (pbuh) can impact our lives a lot. Performing a pilgrimage, we are to show that Imam (AS) is alive, hears us, and fulfills our dreams”.
Referring to the spiritual souvenirs everyone takes from a pilgrimage tour to his/her family and beloved ones, Aliova pointed to change in lifestyle as the best souvenir and token everyone can take from a pilgrimage tour of this kind.
