Martyrdom of Lt. Gen. Soleimani makes Iran-Iraq unity unbreakable: AQR chief custodian
Martyrdom of Lt. Gen. Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis has made unity between Iran and Iraq more irrefrangible, says Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, the body in charge of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine.

Speaking in meeting with grand custodian of holy shrines of Imam Musa Kazem (AS) and Imam Javad (AS), Hoj. Marvi said: “The enemy believed that attacking two high ranking Iranian and Iraqi generals could lead to a division between the two countries; however, martyrdom of these two faithful generals alongside each other and mixing their bloods led to an unbreakable bond between the two neighboring nations”.
Marvi added: “Enemies of Islam are unaware of God’s wile. By committing the crime, the US government made itself more dishonored as they attacked an official authority of a sovereign country in an official mission to another country”.
Highlighting US government’s deriding to the international norms and rules, AQR chief custodian stressed: “By conducting this cowardly terrorist act, Trump administration insulted Iranian and Iraqi nations’ pride and showed its arrogant nature as well as non-commitment to international law”.
Marvi went on to say: “The United States assassinates an official agent of Iraqi government and his high ranking guest while its claims are to provide security in the Arab country. Which law has allowed US administration to occupy a country and to assassinate that country’s official? If the US Army remains in Iraq, will Iraqi nation have a calm day?”
Noting that one of the imminent impacts of these two martyrs’ blood can be dismantling of US bases from Iraq and the whole region, AQR’s chief custodian said: “It is the duty of elites in the two countries to make two nations particularly the youth aware about US plots and conspiracies against Islam”.
