Karamat Razavi Foundation has announced preparation and distribution of about 700,000 subsistence packages for the needy across the country under the supervision of Astan Quds Razavi by the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Detailing the move, Mohammad Hossein Ostadaqa, director of the foundation, said: “At an order by AQR chief custodian, in order to support the flood-stricken people in Sistan and Baluchestan, Kerman and Khuzestan provinces, distribution of over 80,000 livelihood packages is put on the agenda.”
The packs have been prepared in Tehran and they are being sent to Mosallas in three cities of Kerman, Ahvaz and Zahedan, so that they will be distributed next week in an opening ceremony in the presence of the Leader’s representatives in these provinces, he said.
Pointing to another AQR support program in 27 provinces of the country (except Khorasan Razavi, Sistan and Baluchestan, Kerman and Khuzestan) to distribute 200,000 packages, he said Razavi servants nationwide have also prepared 150,000 packages to distribute among the deprived.
Over the ongoing support projects in Mashhad, he continued, “150,000 food packages are being distributed in Mashhad. Meanwhile, 100,000 special Iftar packages for the deprived, with the AQR support, and with the participation of students are being prepared for distribution in Khorasan province.”
Ostadaqa stressed that the distribution of food packages is based on the data provided by four institutions of State Welfare Organization, the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee, the Red Crescent and jihadi groups.
He stated that the AQR packages have been provided with a credit of 100 billion Tomans of which 65 billion Tomans have been provided by Astan Quds, and 35 billion by servants and service centers.
“In addition, AQR has helped NGOs in preparation of food packages and distribution of hot meals,” he remarked.
