It is the chief approach of Astan Quds Razavi to strengthen NGOs and it is not looking for official involvement, but to strengthen and support non-governmental organizations in its programs.

Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi stated the above in a meeting with the officials of NGOs active in the Movasat maneuver, which was held in the Vilayat auditorium of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine.
He first introduced helping the needy as one of the most beautiful qualities of the believers, stating that the love for God will also lead to the bestowal of goodness on the servants of God. Marvi called the first and most important sign of man’s love for the God as not seeing himself and walking in the path of divine satisfaction.
“Serving the people, especially the needy, and not being unaware of their problems has been one of the characteristics of God-loving servants, and one of the best examples for such people is Imam Ali (AS),” he said.
“We have many good and righteous deeds in the world,” he noted, adding: “Some good deeds such as prayer, fasting and Hajj are for the servants, but some such as taking care of, helping and providing sustenance for the people are common between God and his servants. The aids of the donators to the people is the work of God.”
He pointed out that solving the problems of the people and easing the sufferings of people have higher rewards than religiously recommended acts and taking care of the needy is one of the traditions attributed to the Prophets, the Infallible Imams (AS) and the great scholars of Islam, and our figures personally did these matters.
Elsewhere, he stressed the need to preserve the dignity and respect of the needy while aiding, pointing to the manners of the Infallible Imams as the best example in this regard.
He further underscored the importance of increasing cooperation and focus on relief efforts by referring to the proverb “One thriving village is better than one hundred ruined cities,” stating that regardless of the necessary transient assistance, it is good to choose a district and by focusing on meeting their different needs, create a model of relief there and solve all the problems of the deprived.
Hoj. Marvi also called on the officials of the organizations active in the Movasat maneuver to plan for empowering and generating sustainable income for the deprived.
At the beginning of the meeting, Hossein Ostadaqa, the CEO of Karamat Razavi Foundation, presented a working report on the activities of this foundation and AQR’s supportive approach to NGOs, and then a group of officials and representatives of NGOs expressed their views.
