His message reads:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate the Merciful
Some 41 years after designation of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day at an initiative by Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution, the strong will to support the oppressed, the Palestinian people in particular, is still lively and fresh.
This year’s Quds Day is associated with a grief, though. The place of the great commander of Quds Forces, Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, is green. In his last message to the Palestinian freedom fighters, he wrote: “Upon the grace of God, victory is near and the countdown for the death of the usurper Zionists has already begun. I hope God the Almighty will bestow me a chance to be with you in the holy war and grant me martyrdom in the fight for the Palestinian cause.”
Lt. Gen. Soleimani met what he wished and upon the help of God the time for realization of his wish, i.e. freedom of al-Quds, is near.
Unlike the will of the global arrogant powers and those seeking peace with the oppressors, Palestine’s modern-day youths are more intelligent, well-prepared and decisive than their previous generations in realization of their cause.
Making the West Bank insecure for the occupiers, denouncing the so-called Deal of the Century, and most thrilling than all, Palestinian youths’ unrelenting resistance in Ghaza, the unbreakable citadel of resistance despite years of land, air and sea siege and in spite of suffering endless tortures and persecution simply because of safeguarding their land and honor, are crystal clear examples of this unwavering will and Islamic awakening, and a harbinger of an accessible bright future for the people of Palestine. As the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has once said, the goal of freedom of aL-Quds and the holy fight against occupiers and usurpers of the Palestinian land will be always on the agenda of the pious and revolutionary youths.
Today, at the threshold of the International Quds Day and under restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic, all free nations of the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran in particular, will commemorate the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, martyrs of the Resistance Movement, especially Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and will listen to the Quds Day speech of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
We will pray in Jerusalem al-Quds about God's success, though they see Him far away and see Him soon.
