AQR servants kick off 2nd round of generous services: Chief custodian
Astan Quds Razavi’s servants kick off their second round of generous services to eradicate poverty and unemployment, says Hoj. Ahmad Marvi AQR chief custodian while describing the move as a real example of rendering pure services to Imam Reza (AS) and his pilgrims.

Speaking to a group of benefactor Razavi servants in Vilayat auditorium at Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine, Marvi said: “Thanks to the great endeavors of the Razavi servants and benefactors, over 40 thousand food and hygiene packages were supplied and distributed among deprived families during Ramadan”.
Stressing that AQR did not stop rendering services to the devotees and pilgrims of Imam Reza (AS) during closure days of the complex and changed it into generous services, he added: “What can be understood from conducts of scientists, scholars, and real worshipers is that giving service to people is higher than every other act after doing one’s obligations”.
Rendering services to people, best act possible
Hoj. Marvi underscored rendering services to people as the best kind of generous act everyone can do according to the conducts of the Infallible Imams (AS), saying: “The best act under current situation of the country when cruel economic sanctions of the West have made people’s lives difficult is to take serious attention to the problems of deprived and needy people”.
He further noted that Imam Reza’s (AS) servants cannot and will not be reluctant to this hard situation.
Marvi added: “If Imam Reza (AS) was among us today, he would have done the same. None of the Prophet Mohammad’s (pbuh) family members was indifferent to poverty, injustice and oppression as it is God’s order”.
“We are an aspect of God’s affection and favor when dealing with the problems of those affected by the pandemic and its economic consequences. Identifying these people and giving hand to them is a really valuable deed,” he observed.
Emphasizing on AQR’s full support of these faithful and charity activities, Hoj. Marvi said: “God willing, you the servants of Imam Reza (AS) will roll out these charity food basket once again in Imam Khomeini (RA) Portico of the shrine and we will support your act as much as we can”.
Elsewhere in his remarks, AQR chief custodian referred to the tremendous capacity of his respected organization, saying: “Imam Reza’s (AS) name and flag is a very great capacity. Big family of Razavi servants including scientists, inventors, and entrepreneurs enjoy a very enormous capacity and this capacity must be used in the best possible way”.
Marvi also said: “We have to eradicate homelessness, unemployment, and hunger in Mashhad by using these unique capacities in Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine”.
He said: “If this large number of servants put their heads together, they will succeed to settle some fundamental problems of the city of Imam Reza (AS) and AQR will also support them”.
Concluding his speech, he said: “We have to change Mashhad into a model city for other parts of the country as work for Imam Reza (AS) requires such a level. In the city attributed to Imam Reza (AS) there should be no news of hunger, homelessness, unemployment, divorce and imprisonment. We must use, through arranging a viable mechanism, the great blessing of Razavi servants in all dimensions including science and knowledge, experience, and material facilities in the name of Hazrat Reza (AS) and change the city of Imam Reza (AS) to a model city”.
