AQR holds Muharram ceremonies for English speakers in cyberspace
Tasua and Ashura mourning ceremonies for the English-speaking audience will be held in cyberspace by the Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi

Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad, the director of the office said: “Due to the Covid-19 restrictions and the absence of English-speaking pilgrims in the holy shrine, various programs have been planned for this group during Tasua and Ashura, which will establish virtual knowledge-oriented circles and direct conversations. “Simultaneously with the first ten days of Muharram, question and answer sessions on the topics of religious doubts and the philosophy of the Ashura uprising will be broadcast, as hosted by Ruhollah Hosseini, and English-speaking audiences can benefit from this heavenly atmosphere,” he said
“Live conversations with the topics of moral principles in the Husseini uprising, the role of non-Muslims in Ashura, a glance at the character of Hazrat Abolfazl (AS); Imam Hussein (AS) as a symbol of honor and greatness with lectures by scholars such as Hossein Saberi, Hadi Qorbanyar and Ehsan Ahmadi will also be held,” he noted.
