Two Spanish women convert to Islam
Two young Spanish women have converted to Islam through a virtual connection with the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).

 

Announcing the above, Mohammad J. Hasheminejad, director of the Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said: “Due to the restrictions imposed on the presence of foreign pilgrims in the holy shrine owing to the outbreak of the coronavirus, several cultural and promotional programs are held from various virtual networks for the admirers of this holy shrine.”
He described Spanish as one of the active languages for implementation of the holy shrine programs and noted that the two young Muslims, who had been researching and studying Islam for a long time were influenced by the AQR programs these days and decided to convert to Islam in a live connection with the holy shrine.
“In addition to these two Spanish women who previously had studies on Islam, several others became more interested in converting to Islam and became Muslims under the influence of these promotional programs,” he commented.
Referring to the impact of the AQR programs on the audience, he added: “The outbreak created a new experience in cyberspace publicity and while connecting with a wider range of audiences, we presented our publicity and promotional programs to the audience in this way.”
Hasheminejad in the end pointed out that in the last 10 days of the month of Safar, various promotional programs including webinars, mourning rituals, speeches, eulogies in different languages were held through various virtual networks in order to promote Razavi and Prophetic culture.
Astan Quds Razavi is the body in charge of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine.
