
Shariatitabar referred to correction, re-edition and revival of old texts as the main job of the department, saying: “University and seminary elites of the department have produced and revived many valuable works in law and jurisprudence and the resulting works are now available in the market”.
According to him, books by Allameh Helli are among works turned into printable books at the department.
Among works under research, Hoj. Shariatitabar pointed to books by Haj Fazel Sabzevari, known as Fazel Khorasani, who was a scholar of Safavid era.
He also said: “Jurisprudential Traditions of Imam Reza (AS)” and “Honorable Offspring” are department’s newly published works focusing on Imam Reza’s (AS) jurisprudence. Also, reproduction of some other works on jurisprudential rules, endowment, and Razavi jurisprudence is on the agenda of the department”.
The IRF official reiterated that the revival of old texts, particularly those of Khorasan, is a main priority for the department and researchers are now working on those texts.
Paying attention to jurisprudential needs of AQR was another priority for the department according to Shariatitabar. “Jurisprudence of endowment, pilgrimage and jurisprudential needs of pilgrims in the form of non-demonstrative jurisprudence collection, approaches related to religious injunctions for public use and use of experts active in religious questions responding section are some other productions of the center”.
Shariatitabar said: “We also hold ourselves responsible towards jurisprudential issues of the Islamic establishment, but our main focus is on AQR’s needs in which we have been successful, fortunately”.
He brought his remarks to end by saying: “We hope the department could be able to take effective steps towards reviving orders of the Infallible Imams (AS) by performing its duties and responsibilities through publicizing jurisprudence and principles of Islamic law and meeting the demands of seminaries”.
