Focusing on the importance and utilization of the capacity and facilities of modern technologies and cyberspace in order to facilitate quality services to pilgrims and neighbors of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine are the main objectives of this council.
“Today, AQR must carry out its assigned missions, accelerate the provision of quality services to pilgrims and strengthen its relationship with the audience through the capacity of information technology and cyberspace by prioritization, needs assessment, and coherent planning,” Qahroudi said.
He stated that the Council has been formed with the aim of consensus and coordination of AQR units for proper use of IT and cyberspace. “In the new structure of Astan Quds Razavi, IT and cyberspace have received special attention.”
AQR senior advisor of the chief custodian and security director general, senior director of the holy shrine, deputy director of Islamic Ideology Dissemination Dept., head of Scientific and Cultural Organization, head of Astan Quds Razavi Security and the head of Communications and Media Center, as members of the Council, expressed their views and opinions in the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, the secretary of the Council, Mohsen Qolami, presented a report on the history, general structure, mission and tasks, goals, policies, rules and regulations and plans of the Council for the Iranian calendar year of 1399 (beginning March 20, 2020).
