Hazrat Zahra’s conduct, key to solving modern-day social problems: AQR chief custodian
Conduct of Hazrat Zahra (SA) is a key to solve many problems the new generation is challenging with, says Astan Quds Razavi’s chief custodian, Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, emphasizing on women’s role in society’s destiny and nurturing future generations.

Hoj. Marvi who was addressing a group of elite mothers and AQR female donors on the occasion of Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) birth anniversary in Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine, introduced Hazrat Zahra (SA) as the reason behind revelation of Al-Kawthar surah. “Interpreters have proven with firm reasons that the cause of revelation of this surah is Hazrat Zahra (SA), indicating great position of this noble lady of Islam”.
Referring to influential role of Hazrat Fatima (SA) in protecting Islam, he stressed: “If Hazrat Zahra (SA) had not been serious in nurturing her children and supporting Imam Ali (AS), Islam’s destiny would have been different. She saved Islam by unrivalled bringing up of Imam Hassan (AS), Imam Hossein (AS), and Hazrat Zeinab (SA)”.
According to him, views on Hazrat Zahra (SA) should not be limited to the kind of suppression she tolerated or other emotional aspects. “Afflictions of Hazrat Zahra (SA) and infallible Imams (AS) must not be forgotten at all and it is necessary to pay attention to all emotional aspects and mourning ceremonies. However, conducts and behaviors of Hazrat Zahra (SA) must not be neglected”.
Emphasizing on the importance of promotion of Hazrat Fatima’s (AS) teachings in the society, he said: “Attending to the conducts of this noble lady will be a key to solve many problems of modern-day society; conduct and general configuration of Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) existence have to be introduced to the society particularly to women and girls”.
Pointing to charity as a salient character of Hazrat Fatima (SA), Marvi said: “Hazrat Zahra (SA) used to give out her food meals of Iftar and all she had in her house to the poor and orphans of the city”.
Noting that Hazrat Zahra (SA) is a model not only for women but also for all humanity, Hoj. Marvi stressed: “The children brought up by Hazrat Zahra (SA) changed into people who devoted their lives and properties in the path of God”.
Elsewhere, Hoj. Marvi addressed women donors, saying: “Your endowments and devotions will be a practical lesson with which your children will learn making endowments in the path of God”.
Pointing to the cultural invasion of the enemy, AQR chief custodian slammed low number of birth rates and less presence of woman at home as wrong practices that are publicized by the Western culture.
Marvi pointed to the dictum of Imam Khomeini (RA) who said ‘Man ascends to the heaven from woman’s lap’, saying “Nothing in the society is as important as raising a child for next generation”.
