Iran’s holy shrines issue joint statement condemning US sanctions against Astan Quds Razavi
At The 4th Forum of Holy Shrines and Mausoleums in Iran, which was held in Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine, the participating custodians condemned in a statement US sanctioning of Astan Quds Razavi and its chief custodian.

The statement reads:
They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.
The hostility and sanctions by enemies of Islam have not disrupted the activities of Astan Quds Razavi, and with the help of the Imam Reza (AS) its flag will be raised more than ever in the world.
Astan Quds Razavi has made the hearts of the enthusiasts from all over the world fascinated for centuries, and has been the place of worship and transcendence of all free human beings throughout the ages. It has set a school of inspiration with a divine human approach to humanity, and therefore, not only the Iranian nation but also the Muslims and theists of the world are the lovers of this establishment.
Thanks to the eighth Imam of the Shia Muslims, in the light of the Islamic Revolution, Astan Quds Razavi has become a scientific, cultural and social hub not only for Muslims but for all human beings, regardless of color or race. Scientific and research activities, interreligious and elite dialogs, a collection of historical museums, and a great library as one of the largest libraries in the Middle East, activities to wipe out deprivation, and pioneering assistance to victims of natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes are some of the establishment’s many services.
If we used to emphasize that the oppressive sanctions by the United States are a political act against the Iranian people, it is now clear that these sanctions have an anti-religious and inhumane approach in the war against God and theists and is not solely as opposition to an individual or organization.
Certainly, all the holy shrines and sacred mausoleums, while declaring increasing solidarity with Astan Quds Razavi, its chief custodian and servants, condemn this insulting act in the strongest sense.
