Islamic Research Foundation to translate works into European languages
The assembly aims to expand its activities abroad in terms of publishing the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
At the beginning of the meeting, a report was presented on the Foundation’s research in the fields of education, Quran and Nahj al-Balagha, and then works that could represent these teachings for foreign speakers were introduced.
It was also decided that orientalists working on Islamic studies should be provided with study opportunities at the Foundation, and that the Foundation’s researchers and scholars would also benefit from study opportunities, conferences and scientific meetings of the Assembly.
Another focus of the visit was to provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the scientific and cultural activities, for various religious and scientific figures of the world, which can be a good chance for promotion of scientific and research studies in Astan Quds Razavi related departments.
Turning to translation, the group paid attention to the 40-volume collection of “Lessons from Nahj al-Balagha,”, one of the great works of the Foundation, wherein the two sides exchanged views on how to translate such great works into European languages.
Holding joint scientific meetings and conferences was another topic discussed during the visit, and the main part of these discussions was dedicated to identifying and appreciating various activities of the Foundation on introducing the scientific achievements of the Infallible Imams (AS).
