Cultural programs for youth and women, serious concerns of AQR: Chief custodian

Fulfilment of perfect pilgrimage is among main programs of Astan Quds Razavi and cultural programs for the young people and women are serious concerns of the organization, says AQR chief custodian Hoj. Ahmad Marvi.
Stating that AQR belongs to the public, AQR chief custodian went on to say: “Different groups of people have got some opinions and ideas about the activities of the organization and we consider ourselves in need of these public opinions and suggestions for better administration of this holy establishment”.
Introducing cultural activity as a main priority for AQR, he referred to a tradition attributed to Imam Reza (AS) highlighting importance of reviving words and acts of the infallible Imams (AS). “According to a tradition by Imam Reza (AS), people will obey orders of the Imam (AS), if Imam’s (AS) dictums are conveyed properly, otherwise we will fail to perform our duties properly”.
Noting that all Shia Muslims and lovers of Imam Reza (AS) are responsible for conveying teachings of the Imam to the society, Hoj. Marvi pointed to Ayatollah Khamenei’s concerns about cultural issues, saying: “Attending to the issue of culture and maintaining cultural contacts with the pilgrims has been a constant demand of Ayatollah Khamenei; therefore, culture is the first priority of AQR after managing the holy shrine”.
Referring to the developments of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Marvi said: “At present, AQR has no shortage in terms of infrastructure and hardware except for the completion of unfinished projects. We do not need to develop more pilgrimage spaces in the holy shrine; so paying attention to cultural activities especially for the youth is one of the main programs of the organization”.
According to Hoj. Marvi the name of Imam Reza (AS) is a great asset for attracting hearts and gaining public trust. “This enormous asset must be utilized in the best way to deepen the cultural and epistemological contribution to the society”.
