Iran to launch production line of Fakhra Covid vaccine on June 22
Astan Quds Razavi and Iran’s Ministry of Defense have planned to launch manufacturing line of Fakhra, an Iranian Covid-19 vaccine, on June 22, concurrent with the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS).

During a press conference on this occasion, Malek Rahmati, AQR deputy chief custodian stated that the industrial production line of Fakhra vaccine will be launched under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, at Samen Pharmaceutical Company in the shrine city of Mashhad, northeast Iran.
He also announced holding of 220 cultural, scientific, social and artistic programs for celebrations on the occasion of Imam Reza (AS) birth anniversary across the nation.
Regarding the AQR macro-policies, he pointed out that “AQR’s main priority is to move according to well-worked planning, and the use of scientific, expert and collective wisdom, which is why the new macro-policy document has been put on the agenda.”
According to him, the effectiveness of the activities is one of the issues of serious concern which extends to improving the quality of service provided for the people.
Rahmati further commented that in order to help the needy, the required land for 6,000 housing units in the city of Mashhad has been supplied free of charge.
