No redline for inspection, audit at AQR: Chief custodian
Astan Quds Razavi practices audit and inspection activities firmly and there is no redline for inspection inside the organization, says Hoj. Ahmad Marvi AQR chief custodian in a live TV program on IRIB.

Marvi said: “All economic and even cultural affiliations of AQR are now under full inspection and auditing. These measures include office of chief custodian as well”.
He stated: “We have brought an inspection institute from Leader’s office to inspect and examine AQR activities. We want this institute to be present in all affiliations of the organization and to discover weaknesses and disadvantages”.
Informing that AQR has plans to merge economic companies, he said: “Astan Quds Razavi has no economic activity out of its endowments; that’s why we have changed the name of AQR’s economic organization to Astan Quds Razavi’s Endowment Productivity Foundation which follows endowments’ more productivity as its main mission.
Marvi further said: “We are thoughtful of Iran’s economic independence and security; in the field of drug production and creating self-sufficiency in health sector, factor VIII needed by hemophilia patients was produced by AQR and all needs of the country were met”.
According to him, AQR has no profit-based viewpoint in its economic activities while fulfillment of self-sufficiency and Resistance Economy is AQR’s main focus. “In the area of agriculture, the country needs imports of oilseeds; we have provided land and seeds for the farmers and helped them to pave the way for domestic production by managing and supervising and sharing our knowledge and experience”.
Expressing that imports are not supported by AQR as they harm domestic production, Marvi added: “We are determined to support knowledge-based companies; we do not create such companies; rather, we support motivated and clear headed young people to the extent we can”.
Marvi referred to the role of AQR in eradication of poverty, saying: “Ayatollah Khamenei has cleared three important issues for us. Deprived people living in Mashhad, deprived and needy pilgrims, and the third is spending, based on endowment deeds.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hoj. Marvi referred to the coronavirus restrictions and said: “To provide pilgrims with both health and safety, we stipulated additional restrictions and used more air conditioning systems, wherever needed, to pass the hard times of coronavirus. The situation is now better and pilgrimage is done by full observance of health protocols”.
Marvi also pointed to his respected organization’s endeavor in employing all means of media to provide lovers of Imam Reza (AS) with virtual pilgrimage during the viral outbreak.
