Pilgrimage should be made easier and more meaningful for pilgrims: chief custodian
Astan Quds Razavi, as the main body in charge of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine, is always seeking to facilitate and promote pilgrimage in terms of welfare and knowledge, says the AQR chief custodian.

In a ceremony to bestow the servants’ certificates, Hoj. Ahmad Marvi stated that the position of the Infallible Imams (AS) is so high that it is incomprehensible to humanity, and recognizing the truth of their position is not possible for any thinker.
He considered the Infallible Imams as perfect human beings and the manifestation of divine attributes on earth, saying, “The Infallible Imams are the manifestation of dignity, compassion and an objective example of the attributes of God Almighty.”
He went on to say that God Almighty has sent the Infallible Imams for humans’ happiness and blessing of the guardianship is the greatest honor for which we should always be grateful to God.
Hoj. Marvi enunciated that the servants should respond to the suggestions, criticisms and complaints of the pilgrims with patience, kindness and gentility, worthy of the pilgrims of Imam Reza (AS).
According to him, AQR is obliged to provide all the means of welfare for pilgrims, yet promoting pilgrims religious knowledge is an important priority.
Furthermore, while appreciating the efforts of the servants and officials of the holy shrine he pointed out that servants have the best knowledge of possible problems in services due to direct contact with pilgrims so they should convey the suggestions to the officials of the holy shrine in order to improve the service conditions.
The ceremony was held coincident with Karamat Ten-Day Celebrations in the holy shrine of Imam Reza. These celebrations are observed across the country on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS).
