New heads are appointed to several key AQR organizations
The new heads of the Islamic Research Foundation, Razavi University of Islamic Sciences and the Higher School of Jurisprudence, all affiliated to Astan Quds Razavi, the body in charge of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine, took the helm of their new responsibilities.

 The ceremony was attended by Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, Malek Rahmati, AQR deputy custodian, and a group of other deputies and managers of the charity trust.
 Ahad Faramarz Qaramaleki, was appointed as the chairman of Islamic Research Foundation, Hoj. Ali Khayyat, took office as the president of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, and Hoj. Hassan Vahdati Shobeiri was appointed as the president of the Higher School of Jurisprudence.
“In order to provide better services in AQR, we need cohesion and synergy of all departments,” said Abdulhamid Talebi, the head of the Scientific and Cultural Organization of Astan Quds Razavi.
“Our mission is to provide pilgrims with teachings of Imam Reza (AS) and to that end, we must prepare and present well-reasoned, scientific, expert-level and executive programs,” he noted.
He added that the organization intends to cooperate with institutions and centers affiliated with the Scientific and Cultural Organization, including the Islamic Research Foundation, Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, etc., in order to create a new scientific movement at the level of Astan Quds Razavi, Khorasan province and across the nation.
Ahad Faramarz Qaramaleki, the new director of the Islamic Research Foundation, also pointed out that AQR, like many other establishments, could outsource its research activities or set up a foundation within to serve as a scientific research center to put systematic and insightful research on the agenda.
Qaramaleki stated that rendering services in AQR requires strategies such as trustworthiness, synergy with other scientific, research and academic centers, and systematic research in order to continuously improve the quality of activities ae well as cooperation and partnership with other centers.
Hoj. Ali Khayyat, the new president of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, also praised the efforts made over the past years for the formation and growth of the university, pointing to safeguarding the assets of the university, preserving the seminary authenticity, planning for the development of educational and research activities, etc. as other goals and programs of this university in the new era.
Hoj. Shobeiri, also mentioned his plans in the new responsibility, saying: “The Higher School of Jurisprudence was established upon an idea by AQR chief custodian and with the aim of fulfilling the Leader’s statement on the second step of the Islamic Revolution to work in realization of new Islamic civilization and Islamic lifestyle and to be a genuine theological.”
In this ceremony, Hoj. Marvian, former head of Astan Quds Razavi’s Islamic Research Foundation, also presented a report on the performance and scientific research position of this foundation. According to him, interaction with universities in Islamic countries, production of more than 250 works focusing on Islamic culture, and publication of 4,000 works on subjects such as the Quran, tradition, the manners of the Infallible Imams and the Islamic Revolution were some of the highlights of the Foundation’s achievements in the past years.
