Imam Reza holy shrine holds commemoration ceremony for General Soleimani
Martyr Lt. Gen. Soleimani was a sincere warrior for the faith and a real faithful man in direct contact with people of wisdom and thought, says Hoj. Mohammad Javad Haj Aliakbari, head of Friday Prayer Policymaking Council.

Speaking in a ceremony on the occasion of the second martyrdom anniversary of Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani held at Imam Reza holy shrine, Haj Aliakbari said: “General Soleimani spent all his lifetime in different areas of endeavor and struggle in a way that he was constantly fighting against the enemies of God both inside and outside the country. He also had a charismatic character in his fight against the evils”.
According to the official, Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani was in love with divine values. His lifestyle was based on love and affection which is the highest manner of mystical journey among people of wisdom. This manner is in fact the very manner of Ahl al-Bayt (AS). 
Noting that General Soleimani was more famous abroad rather than inside of the country, Haj Aliakbari stated: “He was the man who created golden chain of resistance in the region. He could connect resistance chain in different countries of the region including Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, etc.” 
In continuation of this ceremony and in a video message, Seyyed Hashem al-Heydari, secretary general of Ahdollah Islamic movement said: “Life and character of resistance commanders Soleimani and Al-Muhandis have different aspects which need special attention”. 
Stressing that Gen. Soleimani was a real man of Islam and Vilayat in all their possible dimensions, al-Heydari said: “He participated in various fronts in a way that his name and the name of Al-Muhandis had been tied with failure and destruction of ISIS. In fact, the secret of his success was nothing but following the guidelines of Guardianship of the Islamic Jurisprudence”.
Gen. Soleimani was the commander in chief of Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps who was assassinated along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, second in command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units in a US drone attack near Baghdad International Airport on in January 2020.
