Imam Reza holy shrine prepares for Tasua
Concurrent with the sunset of Saturday and night of Tasua on August 6, almost all streets ending in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) see large number of mournful people who come to visit Imam Reza holy shrine and mourn for the occasion.
Observing all health protocols, lovers of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions recite Ashura supplication, and listen to the sermon of lecturers and panegyrists of Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
With respect to the rise of new version of coronavirus in the country, a number of trained Razavi servants will offer health services or guide pilgrims at shrine’s entrances.
Mourning ceremonies of Imam Reza holy shrine start after Maqrib and Isha (evening) prayers at several courtyards and porticos of the complex continuing up to midnight.
The holy shrine also becomes shelter of people with different nationalities on the night of Tasua as there are numerous foreign pilgrims in Dar al-Rahmah portico as well as Ghadir and Kowsar courtyards of the holy shrine.
Mourning ceremonies at Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine on day and night of Tasua make different languages and colors meaningless as all visitors turn into one unified entity in mourning for Imam Hussein (AS) and his brother Hazrat Abbas (AS).
Tasua mourning ceremony shows that people of this land have lived with mourning for Imam Hussein’s afflictions and attending these ceremonies are inseparable part of their lives, so hardships of observing health protocols will not be reason for stopping these ceremonies.
