According to Astan News correspondent, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Hassan Vahdati Shobeyri, the Dean of the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, at noon today, stated at a press conference held at the site of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, “In the system of Razavi Islamic University, program orientation has been taken into consideration and all the educational, research, administrative and financial sectors also work according to the plan.”
“According to the vision document of the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, one-year and three-year development plans have been arranged that along with the development of humanity’s disciplines, research centers and a targeted relationship between educational and executive research departments to be established. Consequently, the specialized center of endowment, vow and pilgrimage has been set up as the first specialized center of the Razavi Islamic University,” he continued.
“At the specialized center of endowment, vow and pilgrimage we study courses that meet the needs of the endowment organization and Astan Quds Razavi’s. Endowment economics discipline, jurisprudence and endowment law and endowment management are disciplines designed to augment the impact of Astan Quds Razavi’s endowments,” Vahdati Shobeyri added.
“Today, the charity economy is in the third place of the economy and in modern countries they provide a large part of the economic demands especially in education and research fields through charitable funds. Razavi University of Islamic Sciences tries to develop the reliance on endowments on the path to education and research” the Dean of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences expressed.
“The Strategic Research Center of Razavi Islamic University will also be set up soon and activities will be done in a problem-centered manner at the Strategic Research Center of Razavi Islamic University and research projects will be organized,” he added.

The University of Islamic Sciences Is Being Promoted to the Third Generation University
Vahdati Shobeyri, pointing out that the University of Islamic Sciences is upgrading to the third-generation campus to be a brand in the Muslim world, added, “In the third-generation university, the development of disciplines is based on external issues and founded on the predicaments and social damages.”
“According to jurisprudential and scientific studies in Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, immaterial assets can also be donated. The specialized center of endowment, vow and pilgrimage center can do many studies in the field of immaterial assets endowment and a part should be dedicated to the intellectual properties of the donators,” the Dean of the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences reiterated.
“One of the subjects of the studies at the specialized center of endowment, vow and pilgrimage could be Islamic banking; it would be possible to have a bank based on endowment, rather than profitability to unravel the problems of the people,” Vahdati Shobeyri said.
Sisters’ Campus of the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences Will Be Launched Shortly
“Today’s women are seeking knowledge and elevation in the community. In the Islam’s point of view, there is no difference between men and women to achieve perfection. Women can have higher education in the field of knowledge. Women who have master’s degree or level 3 of seminary education can take part in Ph.D. program of the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences in December and in three disciplines of law, Qur’anic sciences and tradition, philosophy and Kalam. Psychology and educational sciences disciplines are gradually established at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels for the education of women at Razavi Islamic University,” he said, pointing to the fact that the campus of the sisters of the Razavi Islamic University is set to inaugurate soon.
“The required studies to set up the seminary school for Astan Quds Razavi is underway to create a distinctive seminary school in Mashhad. Students entering the Astan Quds Razavi seminary school should have a bachelor’s degree and higher education levels,” Vahdati Shobeyri added.
“The Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, since the beginning has had international communications and has attracted a large number of students from Syria, Afghanistan and other Muslim countries. In a new approach of the Razavi Islamic University, admitting students from different countries who are eager for religious education is going to be accelerated,” he asserted.
“We are seeking to connect with universities in the countries of the Islamic world, so that we can have educational and research cooperation by concluding a memorandum with non-Iranian universities. Scientific interactions have already begun with universities in Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen,” the Dean of the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences commented.
He pointed out that the project “Missionary Physician” was carried out by the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences in order to allow physicians to attend Islamic deprived Muslim countries and additionally providing health care services to develop Islamic teachings at their places of work and remarked, “According to a contract closed with the Azad Islamic University, during 5 years, each year 12 individuals including 2 dentists and 10 physicians will be recruited, trained and deployed to the deprived Muslim countries.”
