حرم امام رضا
During Kharazmshahians period, tilework in the holy shrine was reinforced.
At the beginning of the 7th century A.H., once again the plinths of the holy grave were redecorated with precious and high quality tiles known as Sanjari, which are still preserved in the holy shrine dating back to 612 A.H.
Furthermore, there is an inscription decorated with precious Chinese tiles around the entrance facing to the holy burial chamber in the northern side of Dar-al-Huffaz portico. This inscription includes the holy name and descent of Imam Reza (A.S.) descended from Imam Ali (A.S.) engraved in "Thulth" script.
