There are more than 1860 shoe-keepers working in the mobile and fixed shoe-keeping rooms. These shoe-keepers receive and look after the shoes of the respected pilgrims in two 12-hour shifts and eight posts.
Getting to work on time in the shoe-keeping rooms, politely receiving the shoes of the respected pilgrims, cleaning, dusting and tidying up the workrooms, keeping order and discipline in the shoe-keeping rooms and offering necessary information to the pilgrims, arranging the religious books including the prayer books and the copies of the Glorious Qur’an in their due places are the most important duties performed by the respected shoe-keepers.
