During the martyrdom days of Imam Hussein (A.S.), two Quranic pamphlets with handwritings attributed to Imam Hussein (A.S.) and Imam Sajjad (A.S.) were warmly welcomed by the visitors of Quran and Exquisite Treasury of Astan Quds Razavi.

According to Astan News, announcing this news, responsible of Astan Quds Razavi's Museum of Qur'an and Exquisites said, "A very unique Qur'anic pamphlet attributed to Imam Hussein (A.S.) can be visited at the museum. This seven-line Kufic style piece of writing has got 83 pages and the size of each text is 6.5× 12 cm. Its color is light yellow and the size of its pages is 10.8× 16.5 cm. On the last page of the work a sentence saying "Written by Hussein Ibn Ali (A.S.)" has also been written with gilding".
Muhammad Reza Saqi said that this valuable work has got a two-sided cover which has been made up of leather. The inner side of the cover has been made up of purple calfskin and the outer side has been made up of black shagreen He also added, "This Qur'anic work starts with the 72nd verse of al-Kahf surah and ends with the 135th verse of the Taha surah".
Regarding the unique Qur'anic pamphlet attributed to Imam Sajjad (A.S.), he stated, "This work enjoys a sixteen-line Kufic text and a black Shagreen cover page. The size of each of its texts is 9.6× 15.5 cm and each page of which is 20.8× 32 cm ". He also said, "The pamphlet has been written on a yellow beer skin".
Saqi went on, "This rare work starts with the 180th verse of Baqarah and ends with Nas surah which has appeared in three lines. On the last page of the work, a sentence saying "Written by Ali Ibn al-Hussein Ibn Ali Ibn Abitaleb" can be seen".
He emphasized, "Existence of valuable and exquisite Qur'ans and Qur'anic pamphlets with hand writings attributed to the Household of the Apostle of God (A.S.) such as Imam Ali (A.S.), Imam Hassan (A.S.), Imam Hussein (A.S.), Imam Sajjad (A.S.), and Imam Reza (A.S.) at Astan Quds Razavi's Treasury of Qur'an and Exquisites has attracted lots of domestic and foreign visitors".
It is worth mentioning that Astan Quds Razavi's Treasury of Qur'an and Exquisites is located in Kousar Courtyard of the Razavi Holy Shrine and it's open from Saturday to Wednesday from 08:00 am to 12:30 pm. It also offers its services from 08:00 am to 11:30 am on Thursdays. On Fridays and holidays the museum is also open from 08:00 am to 12:00 am.
